DJ Shadow Announces First Album In 5 Years 'The Mountain Will Fall' + Shares Title Track

DJ Shadow, never a man to stay under the tide for too long, has just announced that he'll be releasing a new album this summer. The Mountain Will Fall marks the heroic and innovative selector and producer's first record since 2011's The Less You Know The Better, though it certainly won't be his first appearance since then, having recently provided sonic suites for the likes of Action Bronson and Mayhem Lauren, not to mention his Renegades Of Funk tour with Cut Chemist, which built a set out of the Afrika Bambaataa's legendary record collection and treated the world to a live-and-direct clinic on the ones and twos. Along with the album's announcement, he's shared the atmospheric title-track, complete with kung-fu slap snares and bottomless kicks.
