Following up on his pavement melting single with Sean Price, and his 2013 Large Up Mixtape, the homie DJ Prince returns with his debut LP, Test My Sound. 14 original tracks with the Long Island emcee/producer behind the boards and on the mic. Real raps with a prevalent West Indian vibe from start to finish. Features and guest production come from Cyrus Tha Great, Berkawittz, Skyzoo, !llmind, Like (Pac Div), Vaughn Garcia, Lucille Ghatti, Smiff N Wessun, Eric G, and Sean Price. Says Prince of the release: "As a DJ, I feel it’s our responsibility to expose as much new music as possible. New sounds with new styles, mixing different artists and genres together. As an MC, I would like to hear and see these new artists actually be an inspiration to someone instead of promoting follow fashion tactics. As a producer, I would like to hear less 808s, and more rattling baselines.
