DJ Premier & Royce Da 5'9" Crash A Phonte Interview + Prep Deluxe 'PRhyme' LP w/ MF DOOM Collaboration

It's been a helluva a year for PRhyme AKA the mighty duo that is DJ Premier and Royce Da 5'9". After dropping what was easily one of the best album's last year had to offer, the fellas have been taken their show to The Boiler Room and also announced that they'll be hitting a stage near you come February. But what shook 2014, might very well bring 2015 to the ground. According to Preemo's recent interview with The New York Observer, there is a deluxe treatment of PRhyme LP in the works that will be pressed to 45s and compiled into a box-set, featuring 3 to 5 new cuts and at least one featuring old metal fingers himself MF DOOM. You read that correctly. Viktor Vaughan, King Geedorah or simply DOOM, will be gracing PRhyme with a feature on the redux. No word on whether it will be a verse, a remix or a full-on production contributed by the dastardly one, but you can be sure whatever he chooses to submit will be nothing but flame. What's more, the duo also crashed the scene of one of Phonte's interview with STASHED, bringing on an all-out love-fest and tapping into Preemo's miles-long memory lane for some reminiscences. You can watch DJ Premier and Royce Da 5'9" jump into Phonte's interview below, just be sure to hit the link to read the full script of Premier's piece in The New York Observer.
