Nominees in this category included Ellen Degeneres, Aziz Ansari and more.

Dave Chappelle has won the Grammy for Best Comedy Album for his latest Netflix special Sticks & Stones.

Over the past three years, Chappelle has taken home this same award. One previous award included a win for his two comeback Netflix specials: The Age of Spin and Deep in the Heart of Texas. Last year’s win was for his special Equanimity & The Bird Revelation which was also distributed by Netflix.

In Sticks & Stones, Chappelle addresses looming pop culture moments including R. Kelly, Kevin Hart and Michael Jackson. He also touched on his views on “cancel culture.”

Additional nominees in the category included Ellen Degeneres (Relatable), Aziz Ansari, (Right Now) Trevor Noah (Son of Patricia) and Jim Gaffigan (Quality Time). The Hollywood Reporter notes that Degeneres’ nomination prevented the category from shutting out women completely. Women have reportedly only been nominated five times in the category’s 60-year history.
