Dave Chappelle Pops Up At Chance The Rapper “Open Mike” Event

Chance The Rapper Signs On For New Kit-Kat Jingle

Dave Chappelle has been popping up quite a bit recently. There was the time Chappelle showed up to a surprise acoustic John Mayer performance at Los Angeles’ Hotel Cafe. The pair, once reunited, performed covers of Nirvana‘s “Come As You Are” and Tom Petty‘s “Free Falling.” Not long after that Chappelle, along with Jerry SeinfeldAmy Schumer, Aziz Ansari, Dave Attell, Jarobi White, and others were in attendance at the Comedy Cellar in New York City. Chris Rock, who was also present, was testing out material for his upcoming Total Blackout tour. And just the other day Dave spoke out at a rally against the Trump regime's recent Muslim ban in Dayton, Ohio. “I support refugees, I support immigrants, and I love my friends and neighbors. Thank you,” he told the crowd. This time around, the comedian made an appearance at an “Open Mike” event hosted by Chicago's Chance The Rapper. The event showcases the talent of teenagers. Jimmy Butler of the Chicago Bulls and the cast of BET's The New Edition Story also dropped by. Just last week Chance, John Baptiste, and Ziggy Marley performed a very very cute cover of the Arthur theme song on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.  Head here to watch it. Scroll down to peep pictures and some footage from the event.
