Yup. The one and only Danny!--the cat we were so psyched about that we basically relaunched Okayplayer records to put his sh*t out--performed "Evil," the first single off his hotly anticipated solo LP Payback live late last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. With a little help from The Roots young Danny made his TV debut in fine style, in full command of his stage game and looking pretty dapper in his trademark dress shirt and an appropriately wicked tie (imported from Detroit! If you feel the style go to cyperoptix and select your own distinctive neck-piece). Speaking of his signature style Danny removes his glasses and throws them down in what appears to be a symbolically weighted gesture--could this be the end of his Clark Kent phase and the birth of Super-Dan?
