While we’re still here replaying Danny Brown’s brand new video “When It Rain,” Danny sat down with Zane Lowe to update us on a few things. Danny talks about the aforementioned video and how he tried to capture the Detroit Jittin’ party scene with the video and song. He goes on to discuss his recent move to Warp Records and how important it is that they’re allowing him to maintain his creative freedom.

Brown doesn’t disclose anything in the way of features etc. on his upcoming album, but he shares that he’s been working on it for a little over two years, right after Old was released. What you might not expect in listening to the first single, is that Brown says Talking Heads and Bjork were heavy influences on him as he was recording the album.
