Danny Brown Is Writing A Dr. Seuss-Styled Children's Book
Danny Brown is for the kids, folks. In a recent interview with Australia's triple j radio, the already cartoonish MC revealed that there's a whole lot in the works for him in 2015. On top of working with Alchemist and landing on The Lucas Brothers' late-night animated program, Danny's tapping into his inner-Dr. Seuss to provide the little girls of the world with some moral and aesthetic fibre in an age littered with processed hair and wholly unreal standards for beauty. Brown has apparently been working on the book for some time now, basing most of the sentiment on lessons he wishes to impart to his daughter. He didn't mention whether we'd get to see his literary debut in any particular timeframe, but it's certainly something to keep your eyes and ears on a swivel for. As for the highly-coveted follow-up to his 2013 LP Old, it appears work is being done on that front as well, continuing his collaborations with Paul White, SKYWLKR and the aforementioned legend of beat construction. Keep it locked for all the gems from Danny Brown in the months to come and listen to the interview in its entirety below.
