Afropunk Fest 2014 is jumping off this year with a star-studded roster of afro-futurists and future-funkateers to the stage for a raucous weekend of Brooklyn wonderment. This year's line-up melds pillars of r&b, soul, hip-hop and rock --and those who seamlessly utilize all of the above -- like (the gawd) D'Angelo, Meshell Ndegeocello, Fishbone and Shabazz Palaces with the youngins that took the game into left-field like The Internet, SZA, Denitia And Sene, THEESatisfaction and a laundry list of others.
