Dâm-Funk comes through with some new sonics, letting loose another G'ed out offering with "Finally Done Wit' It." The ever prolific captain of modern funk delivers 9-plus minutes of brooding bass lines, crisp claps and spiraling synths on yet another sublime instrumental. The track is no doubt sill in demo stages, but the space left on the cut gives us indication that Dâm's doting falsetto may soon be added. However, even if he omits the vocal track, what's left is a wholly gratifying showcase of the LA synth champ's strongest suits.
