In just a few weeks time Common will deliver his eleventh studio album Black America Again. But before we get to the Chicago rapper's star-studded new offering, he's sat with Pitchfork for a new installment of Over/Under.
Here Com reflects on his recent performance at The White House, flying high in the friendly sky with Oprah, cutting tracks with fellow Windy City star, Kanye West, as well as whether he prefers the Will Smith of record or stage (all underrated, though he'd rather battle Smith for film roles than rapping rights.) As always, it was all love for Com, setting the stage for his new piece, arriving Friday November 4th via Def Jam Records. You can watch his Over/Under session in the clip below, just be sure to pre-order your copy of Black America Again on iTunes today ahead of it official release and scroll down to peep the full track list for the album.
