Colin Kaepernick Slams "American Terrorist Attacks" Amid Drone Strike That Killed Iranian General Soleimani

A handful of conservatives have since reacted to Kaepernick's tweets.
Following the death of Iranian general Qassem Soleimani, Colin Kaepernick took to Twitter to call out the drone strike that led to Soleimani's death.

"There is nothing new about American terrorist attacks against Black and Brown people for the expansion of American imperialism," Kaepernick tweeted Saturday afternoon.

He then offered a follow-up tweet: "America has always sanctioned and besieged Black and Brown bodies both at home and abroad. America militarism is the weapon wielded by American imperialism, to enforce its policing and plundering of the non white world."
The strike that led to Soleimani's death was ordered by Donald Trump. Trump has justified the decision on Twitter, calling Soleimani a "terrorist leader."

A number of conservative Twitter users have since responded to Kaepernick's tweets, including Candace Owens, Tomi Lahren and Megyn Kelly.

Soleimani's funeral processions took place over the weekend in cities in Iraq and Iran.
