Ciara Shares A Sensual, Surreal Video For New Single "Dance Like We're Making Love"

Okayplayer heads (specially you youngins) may not be all to familiar with Ciara outside of her early '00s streak of chart-toppers and very public break-ups and make-ups in the decade since. But the Texas songbird is back with the poppy new single "Dance Like We're Making Love" and its sensual accompanying visual. The groove feels like a bit of a "Novocane" update, stripped of Frank's croon and its hard-knocking back beat (perhaps influenced by their time together in the studio when Ocean was still a fledgling Lonny Breaux) tied back together with Ciara's own lilts, and its visual companion has all the eye candy in the world. Oh, and a lion. Also, it should be said that this isn't the unbridled boogie of her "Love, Sex, Magic" years, but a poppy little ditty never hurt nobody, and it's a great way to get the morning started on this lovely Friday.
