Jazz and hip hop artist Christian Scott released his 8th album -- a lengthy, personal, self titled record entitled Christian aTunde Adjuah. Christian addresses a number of things through this record including New Orleans, his family (specifically his twin brother and his mother), the killing of Trayvon Martin in Florida and his culture among other topics. The album features Scott's quintet: guitarist Matthew Stevens, drummer Jamire Williams, bassist Kris Funn and pianist Lawrence Fields. Check out the footage of Christian explaining Christian aTunde Adjuah at The Revivalist and don't miss the rest of his North American tour dates after the jump. You can purchase the LP on iTunes.
