 2012 brought us another exciting year in the world of Caribbean music and LargeUp is here to wrap it all up for ya with their Year End Toppa Top Ten Lists. Our experts weighed in on everything from the best Mixtapes, Albums and Singles of the year to which Artists to keep an eye on in 2013. They have gathered the best crossover Soca singles that got the floor moving as well as the best rum creams to ensure all have the happiest of times, as well as a range of other highlighted topics.

Some standouts include, Major Lazer , who went hard with two mixes featuring Chronixx and our main man Walshy Fire. The Five Million Rewind was put out by Gabriel Heatwave and celebrates Jamaica's Independence with a mixtape highlighting the biggest UK jams to come out of Jamaica over the last 50 years.

 From Jimmy Cliff and Prince Buster to Stylo G and Sean Paul, this mixtape serves as a comprehensive and quick-mixed vibe of 50 years of JA raving in the UK, with full salute to JA’s Golden Jubilee.

In full LP's, this year featured top-notch Jamaican reggae releases from legends such as Jimmy Cliff , Beres Hammond, Busy Signal, as well as a two CD set from Mr. Vegas that showcases updated versions of standards as well as great new dancehall material.

Some of the top Dancehall singles this year include "Cyaa Hold Me Again" by Mavado and RDX's "Jump". These tunes were impossible to avoid on the dance floor in 2012. See LargeUp's list below and revisit any tunes that might have passed you by.

Jillionaire compiled the Ten Best Soca tunes of the year. Kes the Band scored two songs on the list, "My Love" and "Stress Away." Bunji Garlin made this list with "Cosmic Shift'.  Check out Jillionaire's personal "Best of Everything" list as well as the rest of his Soca Crossover picks below.
