Action Bronson has re-linked with brooklyn beat-maker Harry Fraud on a new track, "Strictly 4 The Jeeps." Before even touching on Bronsino, I must say that the production is on point! Don't let the "Juicy Fruit" intro fool you...Fraud samples Lowell Fulson's "Tramp," (previously been sampled on Redman's "Time 4 Sum Aksion" as well as classic joints from Cypress Hill, Salt 'n Pepa and De La Soul). The resulting beat is part classic boom-bap and part...trap? Bronson's braggadocious verses are hot, his topics stick close to his favorite subjects: food and girls. Word on the street is that Fraud and Bronson are dropping a collaborative mixtape and this preview makes me hope it comes out soon!
