Last month, Dev Hynes' Blood Orange rallied an all-star cast of musicians and friends for a string of shows at NYC's legendary Apollo Theater. The evening found pop stars and starlets of this decade and last joining Hynes and his troupe onstage for a more-than-memorable night of musical brilliance and fundraising, donating the evening's proceedings to the Opus 118 Harlem School of Music.
Guests at Hynes' hometown throw-down included Solange and Nelly Furtado, the latter having helped to write and perform the collaborative composition "Hadron Collider," which was released as a cassette tape-exclusive and was only available to hear and purchase at the show itself.
Today, however, the song has officially been let loose upon the masses thanks in no small part to the weird and wild world of the web, bucking the need for antiquated audio components and freeing this pristine pop romp for your precious ears to hear and to hold.
