Black Thought, Jay Electronica & Bun B Will Join The Dilla Weekend Festivities In Miami
As if next month Dilla Weekend in Miami wasn't already a must-cop situation, the tributary festival has announced a few legendary new names to the roster of performers. Today the festival has announced that Black Thought, Jay Electronica and Bun B will all join in on the weekend-long festivities, blazing bars as only they can upon a stage that will also be blessed by the likes of De La Soul, Slum Village, Joey Bada$$, Rapsody, Blu & Exile, 9th Wonder, DJ Premier and plenty of others, all unified in raising it up for the late J Dilla and Ma Dukes.
But the musical component is hardly all you can expect, as there are also panel discussions, exhibits and a record exchange, all planned to commemorate the almighty legend. Dilla Weekend falls on February 5th through the 7th and is already creeping up on sold-out status.
