Big Sean Puts the Spotlight on Victims of Gun Violence in His "Light" Video

Big Sean's"Light" was one of the better tracks off of the Detroit rapper's latest LP, I Decided. The singer has just released the video for the Jeremih-featured track.  The video features Sean driving a white van and sort of blessing various victims of violence with the "light"...literally.

Sean released a statement alongside the video, explaining why he shot it.

In it, he said:

“It’s disheartening sometimes to see that not much has changed when it comes to hate, police brutality n just overall people losing their lives too early. But when I wrote this song, it was to reassure myself that no matter what happens, they can’t take away our Soul, our confidence, our ideas, and all that makes us shine."

Sean also said that the song isn't an official singer, and he paid for most of the video himself. Check out big Sean's powerful new visuals below.
