Big Boi drops "Mother Of Dragons" his contribution to the upcoming Game Of Thrones mixtape entitled Catch The Throne; a collaborative project that confirms HBO is using hip-hop to market the show to a more "multicultural" market. Comprised of vocal snippets from the show, some choice verbiage from BB, a fluttering hi-hat roll and some true boom-bap sensibilities, the track shines as a rocker all on its own, GOT imagery aside. The Game Of Thrones mixtape will feature one-offs from Wale, Snow Tha Product, Common and Bodega Bamz, making this a big-money collab that we can't quite see a purpose for outside of the marketing implications.
