G.O.O.D. Music producer/singer Benny Cassette starts out his 2016 be re-imaging an OutKast classic.
Benny links up with OKP favorite Pell for “Bombs (Over Baghdad)”. The video starts out innocently enough with Benny and Pell going for a late night run through the streets of Los Angeles, before they have an unfortunate encounter… and then things take a turn.
Get some words from Benny on the video, below. Video directed by Matt Robertson. Look for Benny Cassette’s project, Broken Hearts & Dollar Signs, coming soon.
We wanted to do a video about random people whose lives are forced to intersect. Pell and I are these lost marathon runners trying to find our way, Miyoko is a distraught girl that’s dealing with a loss in her life, and the little boy becomes our guardian angel. It seems more abstract then it really is, but the concept actually is just a metaphor for what all of us were personally going through when we shot it. In the end, we all end up alright.
