Video: Bajah + The Dry Eye Crew cover Vampire Weekend + Paul Simon

In this live acoustic video, Bajah + the Dry Eye Crew take back two songs that reference traditional African sounds and make it all their own. On a rooftop in Brooklyn, B+DEC twist Vampire Weekend's "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa" into Paul Simon's "Diamonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes" while adding their own take on the whole diamonds issue. B+DEC hail from Sierra Leone, land of the "blood diamonds", and A-Klazz, the Flavor Flav of the trio, actually spent time in his youth digging in the mud diamond pits, making less than a dollar a day. Kind of brings the whole "diamonds are forever" and bling bling thing into a new perspective.
