Melanie Fiona is not playing no more. Not that anybody was taking the string of musical shots she's unleashed over the last week or so--"Rock, Paper, Scissors"; "Change The Record" and the various live appearances--for a joke. On the contrary. But this J. Cole collabo is on another level of tuff love, with its knocking beat and snarling guitars. Cole, as noted, has been on his A+ game ever since he was glaringly omitted from MTV's hotlist and MF really earns the emotion of the song, drawing you in and building the tension note by note until the hook feels like blessed release.
