This new araabMUZIK is a tuff beat of machine-drummed nastiness all on its own but part of what makes it so dope to me is the fact that he is giving the okayfuture treatment (if you don't know about the okayfuture treatment, follow @thefutureisokay on twitter) to possibly my favorite When We Were Kings meme/moment. Pretty sure (?) the drum song araabM is chopping and pitching up are the bongos and shout intro of Green Lantern's "The Champ Is Here" beat for Jadakiss (always a favorite) and I'm more than pretty sure that beat is just a loop of Will Smith announcing his own Cassius Clay-ness in this scene of the movie Ali. Or maybe they're just regular-ass hand drums from a sample CD and I'm just getting Rocky-theme Eye of The Tiger psyched because araabMUZIK is PLAYING ROOTS PICNIC this summer.
