Producer phenom Apollo Brown has come back at us with the hard-hitting "Who's That?" Deploying both Brooklyn's Maffew Ragazino and Gary, Indiana's finest Freddie Gibbs (both of whom go off on the beat), Brown has once again proven he's one of the most consistent and versatile producers to ever set hands on the mpc.
"Who's That?" will appear on Apollo's long-awaited (and just about here) LP Grandeur, which also features the likes of Westside Gunn, Planet Asia and Your Old Droog. Now, with it's relentless jazz-tinged beat and iron-tough bars (particularly from Freddie), the new cut makes it clear that when this record drops on September 25th, it's going to be an immediate must-get. (Astute Apollo fans will recall that the producer linked with Freddie Kane already earlier this year. It's good to see their partnership continues).
