Adele - "Skyfall" (trailer/lyrics video)
Yes, Adele has officially gone 'all Hollywood'. Yesterday, the reigning Grammy Queen leaked this lyrics video for "Skyfall" the official theme song of the forthcoming James Bond film of the same name--the first time the track has been heard in full. This is not to be confused, of course, with The Bullitts' "Skyfall," which in hindsight is clearly a daring bit of guerrilla film score composition. Both are--as is only right--big, sweeping, epic, dramatic melodies--worthy of the white hot spotlight generated by the venerable Bond franchise. But, I don't know. Call it confirmation bias but I lean a little towards the guerrilla score myself. Listen to the official below, compare with The Bullitts after the jump--and let the sky-pieces fall where they will.
