Just when you thought A Tribe Called Quest had finished their victory lap, you know with all of the People's Instinctive Travels... celebrations going down in the last few months, they go and drop another bomb on us. No, it's not the reunion album you've dreamt of for the last 15 years and no, it certainly isn't another surprisingly great remix of a cherished cut from their debut. Rather, the Queens crew aligned forces with Busta Rhymes & Leaders Of The New School for a surprise performance of what is arguably hip-hop's single greatest posse cuts, the "Scenario" remix.
The legendary link-up took place Saturday, close to but not quite at home, at New Jersey's Prudential Center for Hot 97's "Hot For The Holidays" concert, bringing all of the true-school vibes to a packed house. Below you can watch the clip of Q-Tip, Jarobi, Phife, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Busta, Dinco D and Charlie Brown getting loose with their anthemic cut; the perfect way to slip into the work week.
