A MJ-Inspired Cut From Childish Gambino Premiered On 'Atlanta' Last Night [Listen]

Childish Gambino Assaulted The Future With The "Pharos" Experience

Donald Glover has had a hard time not shining in recent months. Whether on screen or on stage as his mad-rapping, cool-crooning alter-ego, Childish Gambino, Glover has proven to be a dynamic source of entertainment and cultural criticism that can seemingly do it all.

Last night on his hit FX show Atlanta, Glover/Gambino ended the episode with a very compelling new song that leans on the dance floor pop anthems of mid-eighties Michael Jackson, featuring some smooth vocals over a bubbly groove. This is the first time we've heard Bino use his show as a means of premiering new music, though we hope this certainly isn't the last, as his new project Pharos has yet to be released. But only time will tell, and with Atlanta having just renewed for a second season, it appears that we'll have plenty of it.

You can hear a clip of the new Childish Gambino cut in the player below. Be sure to keep your eyes on us, as Pharos could arrive imminently, or not at all. If you're looking for a lens into the album's live debut in Joshua Tree, CA, jump back and read up.
