Is Kanye West Starting His Own Streaming Service Called 'Yeezy Sound?'

What is Kanye up to?

If you can't join them beat them.

That seems like the strategy Kanye West is playing in his ongoing streaming wars. According to The Blaze, Kanye West filed trademark papers for something called “Yeezy Sound,” which looks like a potential streaming service.

According to the papers, which The Blast was able to obtain, the trademark includes rights to the “streaming of music, audio, images, video, and other multimedia content, over the Internet.” The papers were literally filed last week, on November 2nd.

West's own streaming service would be an interesting development for the rapper. Kanye is currently in a courtroom battle with TIDAL, JAY-Z's streaming service. West is taking TIDAL to court over $3.5 million in unpaid advances and bonuses.
