Why Did Kanye West Spend His Valentine's Day Posting Pictures of Broken Up Celebrity Couples on IG?
Kanye West celebrated Valentine's Day in a Kanye kind of way
Wednesday was the two year anniversary of Kanye West's seventh studio album The Life of Pablo. It was also Valentine's Day. And for seven interesting hours, West returned to social media. He didn't return to celebrate Pablo, however; he came back to post about celebrity couples.

Kanye started out by posting a photo of the Valentine he got for his wife Kim Kardashian:
From there, he spent hours posting images of infamous celebrity couples, like John Lennon and Yoko Ono;Barack and Michelle Obama; Will and Jada Pinkett Smith; Sonny and Cher Bono; and much more.
All in all, Kanye would post over 50 couples. What makes some of this interesting is that a majority of the couples were ones that would eventually break up, including Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Jackson;Lauryn Hilland Rohan Marley;Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown; and of course Rob Kardashian and Kris Jenner.
So what is Kanye West doing here? Is he trolling? Doing some album marketing? Honoring celebrity couples in general? Foreshadowing his own relationship?
Or are we just overthinking this?
