Watch Lil Uzi Vert Bring "Just Wanna Rock" To 'Fallon'

As a musical guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Lil Uzi Vert performed their hit single "Just Wanna Rock."

Lil Uzi Vert had a live studio audience rocking on Monday (March 27). As a new musical guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Philadelphia-born rapper performed their hit single "Just Wanna Rock," flanked by a group of backup dancers. On a small, circular stage, the crew brought the New Jersey club anthem to life, demonstrating the song's hip-rocking TikTok challenge.

Released last October, "Just Wanna Rock" is slated to appear on Uzi's upcoming mixtape, The Pink Tape. While the 27-year-old rapper released their last full-length album, Eternal Atake, in 2020, last July, Uzi released their EP Red & White with production from Sonny Digital, DJ Mustard, Maaly Raw, Dun Deal and more.

"Just Wanna Rock" is currently at No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, and as of Tuesday, the single has spent a total of 23 weeks on the chart, peaking at No. 10.

While appearing at the 2023 Grammy Awards red carpet last month, Uzi responded to DJ Drama's claims that "Just Wanna Rock" has replaced Meek Mill's "Dreams and Nightmares" as the Philadelphia anthem.

"I don’t think so," Uzi responded. "That song like been around for a very long time, and that song is still hitting exactly the same way. I’m just gonna have to see, you know, in a couple of years or a decade or whatever."

The rapper also shared that Meek is one of his influences.

[Meek] that’s a big Homie from Philly, and that’s like one of my big homies. So I just like feed off the energy that he gives actually to be able to even produce or put out that type of music. So like, hopefully, like s***, hopefully. He [Meek] would hope that for me too. Not yet though it’s too early to tell."
