A big night for Khalid and VanJess
In the middle of Khalid made his Saturday Night Live debut in Studio 8H last night.

Serving as the musical guest for Idris Elba (also making his inaugural appearance as host of the program,) the mercurial Texan talent graced the stage with his two new singles. With a band in tow and VanJess holding down the back-up vocals, Khalid performed "Talk" at the show's midway point, and prepped the cast for curtain-call with "Better." On Friday, he released "My Bad," the latest single off his upcoming studio album, Free Spirit.
