The guest list is stacked for the Grammys' salute to the late Queen of Soul

CBS has announced a tribute concert for Aretha Franklin, the soul icon who passed earlier this year at the age of 76.

According to Rolling StoneTyler Perry is set to host the event -- dubbed Aretha! A Grammy Celebration for the Queen of Soul -- which will be filmed on January 13th and The Shrine in Los Angeles. The tribute will include performances from a mile-long list of marquee names in r&b and hip-hop, including, but certainly not limited to, Janelle Monáe, SZA, H.E.R. Common, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Chloe X Halle, BeBe Winans, Yolanda Adams, and Shirley Caesar. No dates has been set for the tribute's broadcast.

It's a fitting salute from The Recording Academy, as Franklin racked up 18 Grammy wins of 44 nominations throughout her storied career and remains one of music's most revered voices. A long-shelved concert film accompaniment to her 2x platinum 1972 album, Amazing Grace, is also slated to arrive in theaters next year.
