SZA and Missy Elliott. Sounds like an incredible collaboration, right? Well, the pair may come together for something in the foreseeable future.

This past weekend the CTRL singer responded to a fan's tweet on Twitter, who suggested that she and Missy make music together.

"A dangerous dream I only dreamt in me dreams," SZA responded. Missy ended up seeing the response and added: "Sounds like a scorcher banger to me!"

We'll see if the Twitter interaction actually leads to a collaboration. In the mean time, SZA is working on "making the best album of my life" for her follow up to CTRL.

Although she hasn’t actually started working on new material for the album, she did detail her process when it comes to creating new material in an interview with Flaunt.

"…I've been talking shit to myself on different topics every day for the last week, which is typically how I start — coming up with little catchphrases in the car on the way home, and I'll be like, 'Cute,'" SZA said. "Then I'll be like, 'I think I'm ready to write and start recording.'"

SZA also briefly discussed her Grammys snub at this year's awards ceremony.

"God didn’t give me the Grammys, because he knows I would have quit, like 'I have nothing else to do,'" SZA said.
