Doja Cat Joins SZA in Channeling Revenge Against an Ex in New “Kill Bill” Remix

One year after winning a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo Performance, SZA and Doja Cat reunite for the “Kill Bill” remix.

SZA and Doja Cat have reassembled for the “Kill Bill” remix. After the hit-single from SZA’s sophomore album SOS made history as the longest-running No. 1 on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart, Planet Her rapper hopped in on the fun. Last year, SZA teased a “Shirt” remix with Doja Cat, although it hasn’t been released.

The pair last collaborated on “Kiss Me More,” which won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo Performance in 2022. The rapper and vocalist, 27, has since earned a spot on the Time 100, teasing that listeners may not know what to expect on her fourth album, tentatively named Hellmouth.

“I might just mess with everybody and completely turn the tables on them,” she told Time. “But I like the idea of Hellmouth because it sounds good. And it’s provocative.”

SZA, legal name Solána Rowe, has newly unveiled vinyl copies of SOS, also extending The SOS Tour in North America and Europe. While European dates for the tour will be held in June, its extended North American leg will run from September 20 to October 29. Although Omar Apollo was previously the opening act for the first North American run, he’ll appear for a rescheduled date in Philadelphia, while Raye will be SZA’s special guest in Europe.

According to Billboard, the first leg of The SOS Tour in North America amassed $34.5 million over 17 cities in just over a month. The singer-songwriter now plans to release a deluxe edition of SOS with ten additional tracks.
