Cardi B, Jaden Smith, and more are the latest artists to enter the Pantheon.
Spotify’s RapCaviar Pantheon, an artistic tribute to hip-hop acts making an impact on the genre, makes its return to New York’s Brooklyn Museum with life-size sculptures of Cardi B, Jaden Smith, Juice WRLD, and Gunna.
Creative Director Ibra Ake provided consultation and direction on the project and accompanying visuals.
In a statement commenting on the latest collection, Spotify’s hip-hop curator and Head of RapCaviar Carl Chery said:
Spotify is committed to supporting young, innovative artists who also have a positive impact on the music industry, culture, and society. These four bold and fearless artists are striving to make changes with their music, and we’re thrilled to induct them into the program.
Spotify’s in-house team debuted the RapCaviar Pantheon in 2017 with sculptures of SZA, 21 Savage, and Metro Boomin.
The collection will be on display at the Brooklyn Museum from April 3-7.
