Snoop Dogg Says Ryan Coogler & Lee Daniels Are Working on His Biopic

The Doggfather's life story is in the works

During a visit to Washington D.C, Snoop Dogg toldVic Jagger of 102.3, that he had plans to release a biopic based on his life.

I’m thinking more along the lines of when you watch great shows like Narcos on Netflix...You know, how like Narcos went from Escobar to the Cali cartel, now it’s about to go to Mexico. I’m thinking like a Snoop Dogg biopic.

Snoop said that Black Panther director Ryan Coogler and Lee Daniels were already attached to the project.

I already got with somebody. I don’t even want to expose the names like that but I got some big wigs connected to it, some wigs. It’s like some wiggathons. If I said these names, I mean these are some real wiggathons. So you want me to tell you their names? In conjunction with Lee Daniels and Ryan Coogler.

Several actors have portrayed the West Coast rapper including Anwan Glover in Notorious (2009); Jarrett Ellis in All Eyez On Me (2017); and Lakeith Stanfield in Straight Outta Compton (2015).

This would be the first film to be dedicated to the rappers life. Watch the interview below.
