Scarface, Snoop Dogg, DJ Premier & More Say Say Goodbye to Bushwick Bill

Hip-hop says goodbye to a legend. Scarface, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, and more respond to the death of Bushwick Bill.

After a short battle with pancreatic cancer, Bushwick Bill, member of the legendary Geto Boys died in a Colorado hospital on June 10th. He was 52.

Scarface was always, unquestionably, the leader of the Geto Boys. But Bushwick Bill, who was born with dwarfism, was a crucial member of the group, providing a much-needed frenetic to contrast Face’s contemplative nature. He appeared on seven out of eight Geto Boys albums, and released a number of solo albums (including Little Big Man, which features his classic song “Ever Clear so Clear.”)

He was a legend. And the hip-hop community came out in full force to say goodbye to one of The South’s most cherished figures. Over the last 24 hours, you’ve seen support from the likes of Scarface, Talib Kweli, Snoop Dogg, J. Prince, Biz Markie, and more.
