Last month, Robert Glasper damn-near lived at The Blue Note.
Throughout October -- or "Robtober," as it was aptly dubbed -- the venerable pianist hosted two sold-out performances per night, wracking up an unthinkable 56 shows during his residency, with impromptu appearances from a who's who of jazz, hip-hop, film, comedy, and all of their intersections.
But in case you missed the historic month-long run, Glasper has shared a supercut of behind-the-scenes footage, putting his star-studded guest list and effortless chops on full display with drop-ins from Dave Chappelle (who introduced Glasper at one night of the residency,) Yasiin Bey, Q-Tip, Sacha Baron Cohen, Tiffany Haddish, Anderson .Paak, and even Bradley Cooper. The clip closes with an excerpt from Glasper's tribute to the late J Dilla with Chris Dave and T3 of Slum Village, respectively.
