The soundtrack for the upcoming thriller Queen & Slim has been announced.
According to Pitchfork, the soundtrack will feature new songs from Ms. Lauryn Hill, Vince Staples, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, and more. The first song to be released from the soundtrack is “Collide” a collaboration between Tiana Major9 and Earthgang.
Blood Orange composed the music for the movie, and he also has a previously released song on the soundtrack, as well as Bilal and Roy Ayers.
Queen & Slim, which was written by Lena Waithe and directed by Melina Matsoukas, stars Jodie Turner-Smith and Daniel Kaluuya as a couple of on the run after a violent interaction with the police. The movie comes out on November 27th. The soundtrack drops on November 15th.
