Pharrell Drops Another Hint That New N.E.R.D. Is On The Way

"It's feeling really good. It's feeling really special."

On March 12th, Pharrell's experimental hip-hop outfit, N.E.R.D., will celebrate 15 years since the release of their debut album, In Search Of. The introductory outing has become one of the most influential records of the last two decades in music, spawning Neptunes disciples of all ages and creeds, united under the far-reaching grooves of an era-defining production house.

Pharrell, of course, has steadily churned out hits ever since, both with Chad Hugo and Shay Haley as N.E.R.D. and as a prolific solo artist. Recently, he was at the helm of the spirited Hidden Figures soundtrack and produced hits for Ed Sheeran and Skepta. Sitting with BBC1 for an interview, P reflected on his string of hits with UK artists, even impersonating the grime star to the interviewer's delight. Then the inevitable N.E.R.D. probing commences and P gets suspiciously quiet, insisting that whatever's on the way is "feeling really good, feeling really special."

Only time will tell, but with a looming milestone anniversary just a month away, the announcement could arrive any day now. Watch the interview down below.
