Inspired by the producer's 2019 album, Return of The SP1200.

Earlier this year, Pete Rock rolled his demos and unreleased instrumentals into a showcase of his earliest work on the new album, Return of The SP1200.

Now, the producer has released an edgy and politically-charged short film inspired by his 2019 release. Directed by Hezues R, Shots Fired follows a day in the life of a white student at a predominantly black school, where he becomes an easy target for bullies after donning a MAGA hat. Eventually, the kid teams up with a fellow student to deliver and capture a talent show performance the school won't easily forget. And, of course, it's all soundtracked by selections from Return of The SP1200.
