NYPD Officer Under Investigation for Telling Cops to Shoot 50 Cent On Sight
"Shoot him on sight."
A longstanding feud between 50 Cent and a tenured NYPD officer has taken a drastic and potentially violent turn.
According to TMZ, Commanding Officer Emanual Gonzalez is the subject of an internal investigation after allegedly suggesting that should cops see the rapper, to "shoot him on sight." The comment was made during a roll call at the 72nd precinct last June as officers discussed the rapper's scheduled appearance at a boxing event in The Bronx.

The report goes on to state that the bad blood between 50 and Gonzalez stems from the officer "shaking down" one of the rapper's preferred late-night destinations. 50 allegedly commented "get the strap" on his Instagram, after which Gonzalez claims to have been the subject of multiple threats from 50's fanbase.
Gonzalez, who's been with the 72nd precinct for 30 years (and remains on-duty,) claims his remark was a joke. 50's team told TMZ that he takes the threat "very seriously and is consulting with his legal counsel regarding his options going forward."
