Beanie Sigel soon responded, saying that "he's outside."
On Tuesday, N.O.R.E. played the role of Don King and Floyd Mayweather by calling into the Breakfast Club and promoting the potential match-up. During his time on the show he said:
“If you want to compare us on paper, it’s no match... Let me just be clear, everything I’ve said about Beanie Sigel, I’m joking about Beanie Sigel. I’m trying to be funny, but at the end of the day I want to teach him a lesson that loyalty is better than anything. A lot of people still don’t forgive Beans for dissing the god of hip-hop, let’s just be clear.”
The "god of hip-hop" he's referring to is JAY-Z and the back-and-forth the two had came years ago after Beans left Roc-a-Fella. Interestingly enough, Beans shared an Instagram post of JAY-Z face-timing with N.O.R.E.
In his comment, Beans wrote:
Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, and Verzuz have not yet confirmed this match-up. On social media, the dialogue was mixed on who would win the battle.
Come on, Verzuz, let's make this happen.
