Conway the Machine x Jae Skeese, Nia Archives, Blxst, Jim Jones x Hitmaka, G Perico x DJ Drama and more dropped hot new rap and R&B albums this week.
Our favorite new albums of the week have arrived. On Friday (March 10), hip-hop and R&B heavyhitters Blxst (Just for Clarity 2), Nia Archives (Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against tha Wall), RXK Nephew (Till I'm Dead), Conway the Machine and Jae Skeese (Pain Provided Profit) and more all dropped new releases to give fans a head start for spring. Less than one year following his 2022 debut album Before You Go, Blxst returns with 4-track EP Just For Clarity 2, with appearances from Roddy Ricch, Mustard, Larry June and Terrace Martin.
“'Just for Clarity 2' is the second installment of a project I put together for my supporters to have an update of what's going on in real time," the Red Bull Records artist said in a press statement. "When I think of clarity, I think of being clear and getting straight to the point. It's a moment for me to vent and be honest and transparent, which is a theme throughout the EP. I call it a flawless four pack because it's intentionally short and sweet, but it's also an appetizer before the debut.”
Along with Conway and Skeese, this week also presented collaborative features between artists and producers including MURS and Wiardon (Speak N Spell), Jim Jones and Hitmaka (Back In My Prime), Musiq Soulchild and Hit-Boy (Victims & Villains), and G Perico and DJ Drama (Hot Shot: Gangsta Grillz).
