Metro Boomin unveils HEROES & VILLIANS, a star-studded album with a bunch of memorable moments. Though Young Thug and Gunna are still in jail right now, they are included and it adds an oomph factor to the release.

Curren$y releases The Drive In Theatre Part 2.Yungeen Ace drops off Survivor Of The Trenches. Babyface Ray unveils MOB. CR6, Chinx's second posthumous album also arrives.

RINI holds it down for R&B with his latest project Ultraviolet.

For his sophomore album, Metro Boomin enlists a slew of collaborators and digs into that trap sound that’s made him a gem in the Atlanta rap market. 21 Savage, Future, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, and even The Weeknd take Metro’s beats for a spin. The late rapper Takeoff is also featured. 21 Savage shines on each of his features.

To close out the year, Curren$y shares The Drive In Theatre Part 2. The release is heavily inspired by how he pulls from films he’s watched over the years.
