Busta Rhymes has shared the first single from his new album.

Busta Rhymes has released the first single from his forthcoming new album Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of Go. Titled “The Don & The Boss,” the track features Vybz Kartel.

Earlier this year, Rhymes announced the new album with Chris Rock. The rapper shared the announcement on Instagram and YouTube, which features Rock bragging about Busta before revealing the title of the album. Although the album is said to be coming soon, no exact date has been revealed for its release.

The Wrath of God seems to be a sequel to Busta’s 1998 album E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event): The Final World Front. The last solo album he had released was 2012’s Year of the Dragon. In related news, a leaked collab between Busta and Drake surfaced online earlier this year.

The track, titled “Stay Down,” was produced by the late J Dilla, and was first talked about back in 2013 when Busta was label mates with Drake on Cash Money Records.

“I’ve had several conversations about doing records with Drake, we’ve actually been in the studio trying to fuck around,’ he said in an interview with Rolling Stone. “…Drake is working on a new album. It’s just hectic, hectic schedules. You can definitely look forward to something eventually coming together, us collaborating. I have something that’s actually halfway done with Drake on a J Dilla beat. It’s incredible.”
