Meek Mill Performs “Young Black America” on 'Fallon'...is Arrested Right After
Last night, Meek Mill appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
There, backed by The-Dream and The Roots, he performed "Young Black America," one of the more conscious and thought-provoking songs off of his latest album Wins and Losses.
And then, ironically enough, a couple of hours later the Philly rapper was arrested.
According to TMZ, at around 10:16 pm, he was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment. This came because the rapper and his crew were riding dirt bikes on a Manhattan street.
Police were able to find pictures and video of the rapper on his bike riding without a helmet on social media and then arrest him.
There is also video from Instagram of Meek being in custody.
The title Wins and Losses has never been so appropriate. Watch the "Young Black America" performance below.
