While prepping his final TDE album, Kendrick Lamar is also returning to the music festival circuit. Kung Fu Kenny returns to Rolling Loud Miami in July, his first RL performance since 2017 when his last album DAMN. was released. Also slated to headline the festival are Ye and Future who last appeared at Rolling Loud California in December.
\u201cROLLING LOUD MIAMI 2022\n\nON SALE MONDAY, MARCH 7 @ 12PM ET\n\nhttps://t.co/f7fXFC3xKu\u201d— Rolling Loud (@Rolling Loud) 1646183952
The original location of Rolling Loud, the upcoming festival also marks the seventh-annual flagship festival. Artists scheduled to appear during the two-day fest include Gunna, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Saweetie, Don Toliver, Baby Keem, City Girls, Ski Mask The Slump God, Gucci Mane, Three Six Mafia, 2 Chainz and more.
Rolling Loud Miami was last held in 2021 with headliners A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott and Post Malone after an 18-month hiatus during the pandemic. The festival also became a hot topic on social media after DaBaby made homophobic remarks during his set and brought out Tory Lanez as an attempt to heckle Megan Thee Stallion.
There's no telling if Rolling Loud Miami will veer away from controversy this year, but with Ye headlining, anything can happen. The festival will be Ye's second festival slot of 2022 so far, as he'll also headline Coachella in April along with Harry Styles and Billie Eilish. Last week, Ye hosted his own DONDA Experience Performance in Miami at LoanDepot Park, where Carti, Jack Harlow, Fivio Foreign, Alicia Keys and more made cameos.
Tickets for Rolling Loud Miami go on sale on Monday, March 7th, at 12pm EST.
