Kehlani has dropped a new single "You Know Wassup" late yesterday evening. The singer announced the track on social media.
The song touches on her relationship with YG, "You're still my love, you're my heart, that's still my date. Still wanna be Mrs. Jackson, still wanna be a co-captain." YG's real name is Keenon Daequan Ray Jackson.
Over on Instagram, she wrote "Verified unmixed unmastered... just a couple hours ago. thank you @itstherascals x @antoniodixonmusic for the production & @leonthomas for the amazing extra vocals/production.."
Recently Kehlani teamed up with Teyana Taylor on the song "Morning" which also included a sultry music video Taylor directed. Her last release prior to this single was the mixtape While We Wait, it was filled with features by Musiq Soulchild, Ty Dolla $ign and more.
